Sunday funeral of Rabbi Chaim Greineman, a prominent religious leader in the ultra-Orthodox Tel Aviv suburb of Bnei Brak.
Rabbi Greineman, a jurist and scholar of Jewish religious law, or halacha, is considered a successor to his uncle, Rabbi Avrohom Yeshaya Karelitz – better known as the Chazon Ish after the title of his major work. Greineman died on Friday morning in Bnei Brak.
Greineman was being buried in Bnei Brak’s Chazon Ish Cemetery, named for his teacher.
